If you are a YouTube Partner, can you use copyrighted music?

I was wondering if you are a YouTube Partner and you use copyrighted music, what will happen? Will YouTube take your Partnership away...or disable your account?



Also, I have instrumentals in my videos, so far they dont show up copyrighted at all, will this affect my chances of becoming a partner?

They use a system that compares the music in videos to songs the record labels have on record to find videos that have their music in them.As long as you have the copyright disclaimer and give credit to the owner of the music saying i do not own the music I only own the video then there shouldn't be any problem
