Why can't i delete my youtube account?

-i started an account and did not know my username was going to be used on the page i thought it'd just be to log in so i want to delete the account and do another one but after i get on manage account and click the cancel button it says at top please wait but nothing happensHere, try this -

if it dosent really work refreash the account then go on your desktop to accounts and delete it ok?
