Is their another Encyclopedia website similar to Wikipedia?

-I have had it with Wikipedia--bunch of snotty Brits who can''t take accept first-hand experience. They Insist A/C Cobras are" British"; that Vegas were "great"; as: " no Link to premature motor wear"; bogus info on LDS when They are not even In America, etc. And, any edit I make; even to correct poor grammar that makes a sentence contradictory, etc, is pointedly questioned and called:

" Vandalism".I have years of experience in a subject; say, switching power supplies or Tesla Coils or Neon; it means Nothing to them if I can't pull up a web site on it.

I need an new encyclopedia website that is US-Based , that allows editing, and that is less picky about "links" and accepts Firsthand Experience as valid. It sounds like you are describing a website with a new directory where you can author your legacy on the Internet. They think you are notable, even if Wikipedia has rejected an article about you or your enterprise as being "non-notable". At this site I'm talking about, you create a beautiful, reader-friendly page that will get picked up by Google, Yahoo!, and Bing search engines.
